Need advise on new home contruction with builder ... - Zillow Real ...

So we are building a home in Allen, TX. The home has been underconstruction since Oct and should be completing by mid Jan 2013. There are items (which i consider) major goof-ups by builder.? Initially I let it go away and let the builder talk me out of making it a major issue. But after thinking about it this is my home which i will be living in and not the builder or sales lady and I am paying? for it so why should I let builder have it their way. Below are the goof-ups

1) AS per change order (Which we signed off) it was specifically stated the media room flooring to match so and so model home (one of their model home) however builder missed it since he didn't get the change order in time and framing was done. We let it go away without a fuss.

2) We have these 4 transom windows in kitchen but the cabinets crown molding is blocking 50% of its appearance. As per builder we signed off the cabinet drawing and that we should have know that crown molding would cause this issue. Excuse me. I am not the builder and how am i supposed to keep track of this??!!

So these two I feel are the major issue. What rights do i have at this point. On #1 the change order explicitly states to match flooring of so and so model home. And on #2 we signed off on what we saw on paper and it didn't show the transom were gonna be hidden.

Do i have any say in this matter and can request come kind of credit or maybe a favor or price relief of some sort?? Can I threaten them I won't close so they are compelled to give me maybe credit or not charge me for say paining???

I need some major advise. Please help!!!?
